Sarah started her healing journey whilst travelling through Australia and Asia during the late eighties. A peak experience at Nourlangie Rock, an ancient Aborigine site in the Kakadu National Park, N.T. started her on a journey of discovery of the Self. Months later, she found herself taking a Buddhist meditation training in Kathmandu, where she had visions and insights as to her path forward in the healing arts.

After a further ten years of travel soaking up the influence of the arts and philosophies of many different cultures from around the world, she settled back in the UK and started her formal training and work as a practitioner of Reiki, Sound Healing, Shamanism and Natural Therapies. After practising and teaching Reiki for a few years, in 2007 Sarah followed a calling to go to the desert in Arizona and train in Reiki Drumming which she introduced into the UK in the same year. She has now taught hundreds of Reiki practitioners in this powerful healing art combining Reiki and the Drum, and more information can be found at her sister website www.reikidrum.co.uk. Sarah created the unique Reiki Kotodama workshop for Reiki practitioners which incorporates the sacred chants of the Japanese Usui Reiki system and Buddhist Chants in a one-day workshop. She also practises and teaches Karuna Reiki®, which incorporates energy and voice work with chanting and toning.

She is also a qualified Angelic Reiki Master.

Sarah’s ethos is to help others discover the best way for their own healing and personal development, either through one on one sessions, group work or courses of study. She is passionate about holding a safe space for raising consciousness through sound and energy medicine, as well as creating community connections in the many group sessions she facilitates.

Following her work with the drum, Sarah went on to train with many different teachers in the sacred and beautiful art of the Gong.

Combining all of her teachings she realised there was a gap for a particular type of Gong training and developed a CMA Accredited Gong Master Practitioner Training which incorporates a practical, experiential workshop, the Harmony of the Spheres Training, followed by a thorough and in-depth distant learning syllabus.

A yogi since the nineties, studying under Sivadyuti and  Swami Dharmanda Saraswati Maharaj, Sarah had always been drawn to Sanskrit Mantra and has trained with the Father of Sound, Jonathan Goldman in Colorado, specialising in voice work with toning and mantra.

She works with the Gong, Crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, Monochord chair, Peruvian Whistling Vessels, Shruti, Voice, Drum and many other instruments in her treatment sessions and group events and has developed the popular Sacred Sound & Light Immersion workshop which incorporates many of the different aspects of sound she has studied. She has trained with many of the leading teachers in sound healing and runs community sound events in Epping, Essex and Sawbridgeworth, East Herts as well as workshops, classes and residentials throughout the UK and private sound healing treatment sessions.   She is also a trained Remo HealthRythms Facilitator. She created the Ancestral Resonance Process™ in 2014, which uses many different sonic techniques to effect ancestral healing for individuals and is held annually at the time of the Celtic New Year. She also developed the post-graduate CMA accredited Professional Diploma in Ceremonial Sound for qualified sound healers who wish to further their knowledge and experience in holding sonic ceremonies.

Sarah holds toning events, drum circles and regular community gong baths, as well as adhoc gong pujas and shamanic sounds evenings throughout the year. Sarah also teaches all levels of Usui Reiki and the Munay-Ki Nine Great Rites of Initiation from the Peruvian Tradition.

Sarah is a member of the College of Sound Healing, The International Sound Healer’s Association, The Complementary Medical Association, The Complementary Therapists Association and the UK Reiki Federation.
